How the Word Grid Solver Works
Enter between 3 and 6 letters per side to create your grid. The solver searches for every word in our general English word list that can be traced by moving through adjacent tiles (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) without reusing any tile within the same word. Results are organized by length, shortest first.
Adjacency and Tile Reuse
A tile is adjacent to up to 8 neighbors: the squares directly left, right, above, below, and in all four diagonal directions. Once you use a tile in a path, you cannot use it again in that same word — but you can use it in a different word.
Minimum Word Length
The solver finds words with 3 or more letters. Single and two-letter words are ignored, so you can focus on words that matter in word games.
