How are Spelling Bee points calculated?

Four-letter words are worth one point. Longer words are worth one point per letter, and each pangram earns a seven-point bonus.

What do Genius and Queen Bee mean?

Genius is 70% of the possible score, rounded to the nearest whole point. Queen Bee means finding every accepted answer.

What makes a word valid in Spelling Bee?

A valid word has at least four letters, uses only the seven puzzle letters, and includes the required center letter. Letters may repeat.

Why might a valid-looking word not appear in the answers?

The publisher uses a curated answer list rather than accepting every dictionary entry, so a valid-looking word may not be included.
